PHILLIP
DEVONA
At the age of
nineteen he moved from his New England hometown to the
west coast of Florida where he began his studies in acting
technique with Asollo Theatre Director, John Ulmer. Two
years later he found himself settled into the hub of
the southeast where he began to truly commit to the development
of his craft. Working
in Atlanta, Ga. at The Warehouse
Actors Theatre Phillip
honed his skills simultaneously working on
every independent film he could get in on. He has
worked with professionals such as Sam
Shepard, Nicholas Pryor, Sandra Bullock and Demi Moore with
his most recent theatrical credit being the title role
of Frank Capra in Two
Hours in the Dark,
a short film focusing on a pivotal moment in the legendary
film director’s life. The film will hit the festival
circuit in 2009.
